Monsoon season
July and August is our Monsoon season here. This is the first of 2 times that our backyard has had a lake in it.
Skirt
Saturday I woke up and said I want to sew something today even though I really don't know that much about sewing. It took me a while but I sewed this skirt. I don't know if you can tell but it has pink black and a few lavender dots all over it and zips up in the back. I think I am going to keep this up it was a lot of fun. I always enjoy making things.

giant black cow
The other day the dogs started barking like crazy. I was in my room so I went onto the balcony to see what was going on and I couldn't see anything. I was about to go in when I looked down and saw this giant black thing right next to the house. I called Shane and went to get my camera. When I came back Shane said it went around to the other side of the house so I went to the other side. It saw me and started bucking and ran off a ways and then it stopped and I was able to get this picture
This is a must share
My friend Karen recently told me about a website www.thegrocerygame.com . Since using the website I have saved so much money on groceries and have more groceries in the house than ever before. It is so easy. When you sign up she will tell you what newspaper to get. You spend about 20 minutes a week cutting coupons. You print out her list and go shopping using the list and your coupons. The blue items are rock bottom prices, the green items are free you just pay tax, and the black items you only buy if you need them. She will tell you how much to buy for maximum savings. She follows the sales trends and all you have to do is cut coupons and print the list and go to the store. The object is to stockpile (aka Food Storage) while things are at rock bottom prices. My first week I would have paid $144.65 but I saved 64.11 so I only paid 80.54. My second week I would have spent $166.74 but I saved 99.42 so I only paid 67.32. I saved more than I spent. After 12 weeks you should have a good stockpile and you save more week after week because at first you won't have all the coupons so you only buy what you have the coupons for. Check it out it explains it more there. But it is pretty simple. The average savings of a family of four is just under $500.00 If you do sign up use my email as the person who referred you.
